Rising music star found Islam, chose faith over fame.

When my music career was on the verge of breaking into international fame, with my last performance being held in Amsterdam with over one thousand fans in attendance, Allah SWT called me to Islam.
It was a particularly difficult choice to make to leave my music career just when it was starting to rise in the ranks of popularity, but I knew that if I became a Muslim, it would be all or nothing and there was no
way that I could have kept my career once I made that walk into Islam.

My year-long journey to Islam, involving research, discussions, and contemplation

My journey to Islam was not overnight, it took at least a year of research, discussions with other Muslims and contemplation to make the decision. I made this journey to Islam alone; I did not have much support or family or friends to make this journey with me.

After taking Shahada, I started to become spiteful that I had given up my music career and all the hard work I put into it and all the accomplishments and achievements, I had made to get myself into the high ranks I was in, but subhan’Allah, Allah SWT took away my music platform and audience and replaced it with an Islamic platform and a Muslim audience and after realizing that, I have never felt sad or spiteful ever again and now all I say is Alhamdulillah and all thanks is to Allah SWT.

Grateful in Islam, thanking Allah for guidance in spreading the message to all, Ameen.

Muslim over these long years just keeps getting better and better and I thank Allah SWT for the opportunity, knowledge and strength to deliver dawah to the masses and pray that Allah SWT will continue to guide me and guide all Muslims to the right path and guide all non-Muslims to Islam, Ameen.
